THE AUTHOR

Terri Hoffman loves horses -- always has, always will. When she was three years old, her father, mother and sister embarked on a road trip from Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, westward to tour Colorado and the Dakotas. Each time Terri spotted a horse from the moving car, she wanted to stop and ride it. She saw her first rodeo on that trip. The ultimate rodeo experience came years later when she attended her first National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a view from the third row.

Terri is a member of the Florida Writers Association, the Society of Children’s Writers and Illustrators, and the Port Orange (Florida) Scribes. She spends her winters in Daytona Beach, Florida, and her summers in Villa Grove, Colorado.
